In any given year I may see hundreds of Lilli Ann coats, but only a select few make it to the pages of Swank Vintage. This one made the cut due to my absolute love of over-sized houndstooth and my adoration of Scottish weaves. As mentioned, this coat bears both the Lilli Ann San Francisco label as well as one that reads Woven in Scotland for Lilli Ann. The fabric was woven from thick cream boucle yarn with the contrasting pattern of what seems to be shaggy mohair yarns of rust, brown, golden green and olive. The cut of the coat is a classic swing style, with no closures, high side slashed pockets, raglan sleeves, a wide collar and lapel and 3/4 length sleeves. The coat is fully lined in a cream satin.
