This is an Issey Miyake Pleats Please poncho, but its not made of the usual Pleats Please fabric, rather it is much softer and more fluid. The fabric is 60% nylon and 40% poly, it is black and metallic silver spun together to create depth, shimmer and sparkle. As with most Pleats Please, it is totally packable with permanent pleats, and is hand washable which is also great for traveling. Its a versatile piece, it can be worn with the V-neck low in front, or pull it up against the neck for a whole other look. You can also turn it to the side to wear like a tunic, but since the front is shorter than the back, when you turn it to the side one side will be longer. As you can see in the photos, any way you turn it, it will be wonderful.
