Vintage 1940's 2pc summer suit in a powdered pink. This is a lovely 2 pc for the summer and has a fabulous 1940's silhouette. To the jacket it features a double pointed collar, short sleeve with turnback cuff, matching covered button front fastening, pockets with inverted v detailing and slight pleating the natural waistline. It is missing its original belt but has belt loops so a contrast piece could be worn to cinch the garment in at the waist. The skirt is a simple a line shape typical of the era but features a lovely pleat to the centre skirt. Fastens with a metal side zip and hook and eye fastening. 

Whilst this set looks lovely as a 2pc it is a versatile set that looks equally as fabulous worn as separates with other garments to create varying looks. A lovely addition to any 1940's wearers collection.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Belt loops but no original belt to the jacket. A few small marks. Some nibbles and a whole to top edge of skirt at the back by the zip which are hidden when worn with the jacket. These could be repaired if desired. Presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
