Does this need to be welded or can I bolt it in?

Will this work with my turbo manifold or downpipe?

The 2.75" diameter fits standard turbocharged exhaust flow. Verify your manifold outlet and downpipe inlet both match 2.75" before ordering — diameter mismatch requires adapters or a custom transition piece.

Can I paint or coat this before installation?

Stainless steel doesn't require primer or paint. Heat wrap or ceramic coating can be applied after welding if you want to manage underhood temps, but the bare stainless will handle exhaust heat without degradation on its own.
