Will this hood work with my factory latch and hinges?

This hood is designed to bolt directly to your factory hinges using existing attachment points. The latch assembly remains your OEM unit. Verify that your hinges are straight and undamaged before installation—bent hinges will cause fitment gaps.

What finish should I apply to the dry carbon?

Dry carbon can be left raw for an exposed weave look, or sealed with a UV-protective clear coat to preserve the finish and prevent yellowing. If you choose to paint, sand and prep the surface before applying your chosen primer and topcoat. Clear coat is recommended either way to protect the fibers from UV exposure and moisture.
