A new entry into the Ford Super Duty ball joint space, American Iron takes a different approach to ball joint design offering a bearing based high quality USA made ball joint for Ford HD F-250 and F-350 4wd trucks. The goal is less failures, less down time, and easy maintenance.

The Details

Unlike the standard ball joint that uses a pin and wear surface, American Iron took a different approach with 7/8” Teflon-lined bearings in these joints. They are backed with a carry a 2 year or 30,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first) honored by American Iron. This joint is similar to heim style joint, and is easy to service and replace, yet retains the same function necessary to the range of movement for a ball joint. A rebuild is as easy as swapping the knuckle to exchange the bearing, rather than having to press the joints in and out of the truck for service. 

The Race Series kits feature a split-tapered bushing which expands as preload is added to the assembly ensuring a precise fit. The customer can trim the top flange of the bushing based on caster/camber needs, the kit includes instructions on setup and trimming.

Select the 0 degree joint for 05-2023 stock trucks and trucks running Carli radius arm drops. 2024+ Super Duty will also run this shim at all heights.

Select the 1.5 degree shim for level height 2005-2023 Ford Super Duty trucks.
