Complex pneumatic systems often require splitting a main air supply into multiple smaller lines to feed various micro-cylinders or valves. The KQ2U Y-Type Reducing Fitting accomplishes this in one sleek, compact component. By combining a Y-splitter and a tube reducer into a single unit, it drastically reduces the number of fittings required, saving valuable space inside control cabinets and minimizing potential leak points.
Time is money on the assembly line. This fitting utilizes advanced Push-to-Connect (PTC) technology. Simply push your polyurethane (PU) or nylon air hoses into the release rings, and the internal stainless steel claws will instantly lock them into place. To release the tubes, ensure the system is depressurized, press down the ring, and pull. No hose clamps, compression nuts, or tools are required.
Pneumatic leaks cause compressors to overwork and waste energy. The KQ2U series is engineered with high-quality internal NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) seals to guarantee a 100% airtight connection, even under maximum operating pressures of 1.0 MPa (145 PSI). The durable PBT plastic body ensures exceptional resistance to physical impact and harsh workshop environments.
"Decoding pneumatic fitting models can be tricky! For the KQ2U series, the first number is the main input tube Outer Diameter (OD), and the second number is the output branch tube OD. For example, the KQ2U08-06 takes one 8mm tube and splits it into two 6mm tubes. Always make sure you cut your PU tubing perfectly straight (at a 90-degree angle) before inserting it to prevent micro-leaks.
