Built-in Magnet & Adjustable Cushioning

Automation requires precise timing and feedback. The "S" in the model number denotes a built-in magnetic ring on the piston, perfectly compatible with CS1-F magnetic switches for accurate position tracking by your PLC. Furthermore, it features adjustable pneumatic cushioning screws at both ends. This allows you to fine-tune the deceleration of the piston at the end of its stroke, eliminating harsh metal-on-metal impacts and significantly extending the lifespan of the cylinder.

"A common cause of cylinder failure is improper lubrication. The SC32-100-S comes pre-lubricated from the factory and is designed to run oil-free. However, if you choose to add an inline lubricator (oil mist) to your air supply, you MUST not stop using it! The external oil mist will wash away the factory grease. If you later remove the lubricator, the cylinder will run completely dry, causing the piston to overheat and jam.
