Eros is the Greek God of love and sex. According to Hesiod, he was one of the primordial beings, more forces of nature than deities, along with Chaos, Gaia, Tartarus. Later, he was recast as the son of Aphrodite and Ares. He is depicted as a very beautiful young man, and is often thought of as one of the gayest of gods, something of a patron for gay worshipers, in spite of the fact that he fell in love and married Psyche, a human woman. 

The cute little cherub thing came later in Roman times where he was know as Cupid. Let us know if you want this same product labeled as Cupid instead of Eros. No problem.

Eros oil is of course VERY sexy and androgynous. It is very similar to our Lovers oil.

The Muse for our Eros oil is Aidan, the Pumpkin King, who has been a customer and inspiration for years, and who also inspired our Branwen oil.
