This 7'0" disc with a rounded pin tail is a performance beauty. The top and bottom are totally distinct, creating two art pieces for conversation in the lineup and/or the home.

The top deck is made of redwood floorboards from the Schwan Victorian mansion in Santa Cruz, California. The house was built of locally milled, old growth wood in the 1890's. These clear grain, heart redwood floorboards served the residents through the early 2000's when the house was demolished. The wood is at least 1000 years old. The lighter wood is Alaskan yellow cedar from old, Monterey Bay Aquarium benches.

The stringer is made of spruce, curly koa and Indian rosewood from Santa Cruz Guitar Company offcuts. This legendary company has been making exceptional guitars for the likes of Johnny Cash, Ben Harper, Elvis Costello, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet, and hundreds of others since 1976. The guitar wood is highlighted between two long strips of ash upcycled from a cabinet shop's offcuts

The bottom deck is made of Schwan mansion redwood floorboards, Alaskan yellow cedar from Monterey Bay Aquarium benches and walnut offcuts from a cabinet shop in Santa Cruz, California.

The fin is Schwan mansion redwood, cabinet shop walnut, and Santa Cruz Guitar Company Indian rosewood and curly koa.

The rails are made of cork, and it was glassed with Entropy Resins Super Sap 100 epoxy made with a tree sap base and 4oz. Aerialite fiberglass cloth (two layers on top and one on bottom). As with all Ventana boards, the interior is glassed and sealed, as well.
