This bold, redwood, down rail board rides smooth and fast on any sized wave, and it'll look great on any wall.

The bottom and top decks are made from clean grain, old growth redwood from a hot tub found in Aptos, California.

The twin fins and small trailer fin are glassed on and crafted from flame maple and ebony offcuts from Santa Cruz Guitar Company production. 

The rails are made of cork which is more resistant to dings, and there is a dot of abalone glassed into the cork nose.

The glassing was done for us by Locus Surfboards and includes a pinstripe on the top deck made from actual brass.

There are two sheets of 4-ounce Aerialite fiberglass on top and one on bottom. The epoxy is Entropy Super Sap 100 bio-resin which is up to 40% tree sap and is very strong and light. As with all Ventana Surfboards, the interior is glassed and sealed, as well.

This board is hollow, lightweight and will ride as great as it looks.

We've also created the matching Ventana Purple Maple Madness Banjolele using the same hot tub redwood for the sound board!
