An aesthetic touch for your kayak, made from mahogany. A nice transition between deck and hull, and helps keep spray off the deck. Includes 2 ounces of 3/4" brass brads and instructions.

Rail Dims: 1/4" x 1/2" x 24' (scarfs cut, for gluing to full length). No pieces will be longer than 93" for shipping purposes.

Make sure to have a look at our ShopTip on Tapering Your Rubrails. You'll find that by tapering the rubrails at the bow and stern of your kayak, you can achieve a much more elegant and refined look.

Kayaks without shearclamps will not use brads for attachment and will epoxy the rails to the boat (Shearwater S&G, Wood Duck S&G, Night Heron S&G, etc).
