CASIOPEA" celebrates its 45th anniversary and welcomes back regular member Yoshiyori Imai on drums for the first time in 25 years, starting CASIOPEA-P4! Since their impressive record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands. Their sound, which literally embodies the catchphrase "thrill, speed, and super technique," was created by Issei Noro, who has established a completely new musical style that was unthinkable before, easily combining familiar melodies with superb technical playing, thanks to his exceptional compositional skills, and has become a major force in the fusion scene. After a six-year hiatus, the band celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2012, renaming itself CASIOPEA 3rd and restarting its third phase. The band has continued to maintain its reputation as a band despite the changes of members.In 2022, 10 years after the start of the third phase, Akira Jimbo (special drummer) passed the baton to Yoshiyori Imai, the first official member of CASIOPEA in 25 years, to start the fourth chapter of CASIOPEA as "CASIOPEA-P4".
