Two years after her last album "12 Little Spells" won the 62nd Grammy Award for "Best Jazz Vocal Album", Esperanza releases her long-awaited new album! This album, the eighth in the series, is the latest version of Esperanza's exploration of music therapy. The ultimate healing album, created in consultation with experts in various fields to relieve people's stress and sadness. The songs were created in collaboration with experts in various fields including music therapy, neuroscience, black music, Islamic mysticism, and South Indian Carnatic music at the Songwrites Apothecary Lab, a place of musical experimentation for healing in Wasco, Oregon, Portland, and Lower Manhattan, New York. Esperanza, who began her exploration of the relationship between healing arts and music with her previous album "12 Little Spells," wanted to create music not only for her own research, but also under the guidance of professionals and researchers, and launched the Songwrites Apothecary Lab in February 2020. He launched the project.The Songwriting Apothecary Lab is also a course that Esperanza teaches at Harvard, and is made up of his students, fellow musicians, and people who study music therapy, neuroscience, and theater therapy, with the goal of studying what music can help humans. It is produced by Raphael Sadiq, Felix and Corey King, and Esperanza herself.
