AXS™

AXS™ is Sram’s new component integration system that connects the bike’s electronic components to the app. The Sram AXS™ app allows cyclists to see battery charge levels, change behavior, customize shift controls, receive maintenance reminders, and download app updates.

Orbit™

Orbit™ is an innovative technology for controlling derailleur movement. It uses a silicon-based fluid inside a sleek, ultralight hydraulic friction system. Unlike mechanical friction derailleurs, Orbit™ technology does not add extra resistance to the derailleur spring during slow or light movement. This facilitates gear shifting and rear wheel removal. While riding, the hydraulic friction system limits chain movement, ensuring maximum reliability and optimal chain tension for 2x and 1x systems.

X-Sync

Sram X-Sync 1x technology ensures the highest level of performance and durability over time. The high, square-profile teeth of X-Sync chainrings and pulleys provide optimal and consistent chain retention compared to chainrings and pulleys with the classic triangular tooth profile. To ensure perfect performance even in muddy conditions, X-Sync chainrings and pulleys are designed with special self-cleaning mud clearance spaces.

eTap®

All the technology used in the Sram Red eTap group, such as wireless shifting, advanced battery management, and mechatronics, is designed with one goal: to make shifting as easy, intuitive, and effective as possible. This shifting system is called eTap. The right lever makes it harder, the left lever softer; both levers operate the front derailleur. Simple, foolproof, and intuitive.
