Vintage 1960's Aljean of Canada wool two piece skirt and jacket set. This is a lovely set - very well made, perfect for fall and winter. The pleated kilt style skirt is to die for!!! It's rare to find both pieces of a set together, and in such great condition!

Various shades of greens and reds in this tartan, which will make it easy to match with tights, shoes or boots.

This set is in excellent vintage condition!! No major tears or stains that I could find. Only a couple spots where the seams are starting to unravel (see photo). It is ready to wear! Button fasten on the jacket; inside button and snap, and outside side button fasten on skirt.

Neither piece is lined. It is a smoother wool, not very scratchy.

-Unique V cut at back of jacket

-Three self buttons on side fasten, with fringe trim down side.

-Pleats from sides to back of skirt

Because this is 100% wool, there is NO stretch to this garment. Please note measurements carefully. It is the equivalent of a modern XS, which is the size of our model, who is 5' tall.

The skirt style is a bit of a wrap - so if you wanted to take it out a little, you absolutely have room to do so.
