This suit is pretty demure in contrast with many Moschino pieces of this period, but it still has that playful elegance that we look for in a design by Franco. The fabric is a rayon/acetate blend with a very soft and silky feel. The color is a rich plum. The jacket is beautifully fitted to accentuate the female figure and the shoulders are padded. The seams down the front and along the cuffs, collar and lapels are accented by hand ticking, but being Moschino the ticking is a bit over-blown giving the suit the hint of irreverence. The buttons are super shiny plastic domes and there is a big, shiny plastic ring at the small of the back as well.
 
Sorry I couldn't show the jacket with the skirt but my mannequin is a size too small for it so you will have to use your imagination. The skirt is a simple pencil style with a side zipper. Both pieces are lined.
