A lovely 1930s vintage hand crocheted dark cream wide collar with open work and flowers to add to a plain dress.

This reminds me of an Egyptian necklace with its style.

The flowers resemble pansies and the edge of the collar is fine scallops. The center of the collar is open work crochet.

The front of the collar fastens with two tiny crocheted buttons.

It is very fine well done crochet.

It is 23" long and 3 1/2" wide.

This is to be worn off the neck along the collar bone.

These collars were added to ones every day dress to add an extra touch. Or to change the look.

In excellent condition.
