Vintage 20s Beaded Bag Pictorial Landscape Scene

Transport yourself to a decadent flapper party on the verandah of a great estate from which upon you see a path up to a hill and a garden gate that opens up to a portico o a lake, offset by a backdrop of mountains - such is the scene that presents itself on both sides of this oversized evening bag - all in colorful micro-beading. Tones are vibrant greens for the trees and grasses, with the sky in beige, the mountains in gray and the man made aspects in tones of red, pink, brown and black. Little white and red flowers poke their heads out among the bushes. It opens on a hinged metal frame stamped in scroll work, closes with a kiss clasp and has a paperclip style hand-strap. Interior is lined in pink silk. Colorful loops hang as fringe at the bottom; their beaded strands intertwined.

Condition: very good with the body in extremely good condition on the exterior beading, though there are fringed loops missing on either side of the bottom edge. Also, one of the sides with the pictorial scene has two small sections of faintly gray, stains. Not noticeable unless pointed out, but you can see it in pic 2.
Interior lining is ripped as shown in the photo and is typical of many bags this age. Does not prevent use/can be easily relined. Priced accordingly.
