These knife rests are unique pieces of art designed by Alice Damiens for the first edition of Porte-Couteaux Sensibles.

Fond of this forgotten element of the table that is the knife rest, Sarah wanted to give free rein to the imagination and know-how of these artists, so that they take over this slightly obsolete object and offer it a new recognition.

Alice Damiens, daughter of a sculptor cabinetmaker, grew up immersed in craftsmanship and woodwork. After a decade in fashion styling, she returned to artistic creation, learning sculpture from her father. In 2020, Romie Objetti emerged, crafting a cohesive universe where every piece, be it jewelry or interior decor, carries a distinct identity. She primarily works with wood, using the stock her father accumulated throughout his career in his workshop in northern France.
