Vesrah Sintered Metal Disc Front Brake Pads for BMW R1250 GSA (2019-2024) with Hayes Caliper

These inexpensive OEM replacement pads are great value for street and lightweight racing bikes. They don't fade in high temperatures and offer you good control in all weather conditions. 

Sintered metals tend to have lower brake coefficients at lower temperatures, between 50°C and 100° C, compared with ceramic brakes. Sintered metal brakes develop strong braking power after an initial bed-in time of 1-2 laps around the track, and they fade at much higher temperatures. Their friction coefficient is between 0.6~0.7.

All brake pads require careful bedding-in. After fitting the pads, you should initially brake gently and then allow the brakes to cool down. The time required for bedding-in depends on the blend of materials used - organic pads take longer than sintered pads.
