The Focusrite ISA C8X is a flagship 26x28 USB-C audio interface designed for studios that demand high I/O counts, patchbay integration, and pristine analog tone. Featuring two Lundahl transformer-equipped ISA mic inputs and six remote-controllable Focusrite mic pres, it delivers up to 79 dB of gain with selectable saturation and Air modes for instant analog character.

Front-Panel & Instrument Inputs
Colorful LED meters provide clear feedback, while dual headphone outputs offer independent control. Two Hi-Z instrument inputs run through Lundahl transformers with selectable impedance, preserving the natural tone of guitars, bass, and synths. Each mic input includes phantom power, line/mic switching, and analog drive or Air processing.

Six Remote-Controlled Mic Pres
Alongside the ISA preamps are six ultralow-noise Focusrite mic pres with 69 dB of gain. Each includes analog Air processing for clarity and variable Drive DSP for harmonic saturation, all controllable via the Focusrite Control 2 app.

Balanced Line Inputs & Outputs
Eight dedicated balanced line inputs are ideal for patchbay setups, bypassing preamps for maximum headroom. Twelve balanced line outputs allow mono, stereo, or immersive 7.1.4 monitoring, with anti-thump speaker protection and front-panel or remote switching.

RedNet-grade 24-bit/192 kHz converters deliver 125 dB dynamic range and ultra-low distortion at 0.00022% THD. Dual headphone outputs provide independent level control, extra headroom, and optimized impedance for detailed playback.

Remote Control Recording
Focusrite Control 2 for desktop and mobile makes it easy to manage gain, route audio, save and recall mixes, and monitor with low latency. Automatic gain across all mic preamps speeds workflow, and multiple interfaces can be controlled simultaneously via ADAT expansion.
