ABEC 5: A standard value used to measure the surface area of ​​roller bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. The higher the ABEC class, the greater the precision, efficiency, and speed capacity, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest-rotating components. All quality manufacturers use at least ABEC 1 as the standard. For Enduro, the minimum standard is ABEC 3.

• ABEC 5: Steel ball Grade 5: Balls with a precision of 5/1,000,000. This is military-grade and therefore excellent for precision applications.
• ABEC 5 standard: This bearing must pass all tests, including noise at high speed, very tight tolerances on both the inside and outside diameter, perfect spherical shape, raceway accuracy, and the finish of both the raceway and the ball. These bearings are treated with a high-quality Teflon lubricant (Rheolube 374A).
• VV: Designed to minimize frictional resistance, the seal has no contact with the bearing's inner cage. Assuming the bearings also have an increased grease fill percentage, the grease migrates to the bottom of the groove, where a hydromatic seal is developed between the two "lips" and where the grease resides within the groove. This grease barrier keeps salt and impurities out of the bearing, all for the lowest friction of all our bearings.
