How to use the Lotus I+

• Pack shisha to just below the bowl rim
• Place the Lotus I+ directly on the bowl — no foil needed
• Add 2 fully lit 26 mm coconut coals
• Close the lid for 3–5 minutes to build heat
• Open the vents to regulate temperature through the session — more open = less heat, more closed = more heat

Care

• Allow to cool completely before handling — it gets very hot in use
• Soak in warm water with a touch of mild dish soap
• Clean with a soft brush — never abrasive scrubbers, they'll damage the finish
• Dry thoroughly before storing
• Never preheat the Lotus without a bowl underneath it

Will it fit my bowl?

The Lotus I+ fits most standard phunnel bowls with a ~7.5 cm rim. It does not fit traditional flat Egyptian clay bowls. Bring your bowl into Melbourne's Shisha Store and we'll test fit it across the counter.

Should I get the I+ or the I+3 (3-coal version)?

The I+ holds 2 coals and suits typical 60-minute sessions. The I+3 holds 3 coals and runs longer or hotter — better for big phunnels and extended sessions. For most users the I+ is the right call.

Is it really worth it over foil?

Yes — it's the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade most hookah owners make. The heat control alone saves you from burnt packs and rushed sessions.
