TeamO's inflatable PFD harnesses are the only ones on the market equipped with patented BackTow™ Technology. This innovative feature is specifically designed to protect the wearer in a man-overboard (MOB) situation, even when they remain tethered to the vessel.

Upon inflation, the wearer manually activates the BackTow™ handle, conveniently located on top of the right-hand lung. This action repositions the wearer into a face-up seated position in the water, allowing for safe and controlled towing alongside the vessel.

The BackTow™ strap functions as a robust attachment point, significantly reducing the risk of injury during recovery. With the assistance of a winch, even a small person can effectively recover a MOB wearing a TeamO PFD.

Please note: TeamO Inflatable PFDs are a UK-designed, world-class product that has the highly regarded world standard of ISO12402-3. TeamO Inflatable PFDs do not have Transport Canada or US Coast Guard approval.

Many countries coast guards state, "You are required by law to have a lifejacket or PFD (Personal Flotation Device) onboard for each person on a watercraft." The Lifejackets or PFDs must be state and country approved to be counted. Investigate your local laws and rules to follow suggested guidelines.
