Studies have shown that the common teasal herb has a beneficial effect on the human body.  Active compounds in teasals have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antirheumatic effects. In addition, this plant has antioxidant and cytoprotective properties, protecting all cells, including the liver. 

Compounds contained in common teasel support the regeneration of connective tissue and reduce bone loss resulting from osteoporosis. The plant can also support the immune system and have bactericidal and antifungal properties.

Preparations containing common teasel may be useful for people who want to take care of their health and improve the overall condition of the body. In particular, they can be used by people struggling with rheumatic pain and gout, and as an adjunct in the treatment of diseases such as osteoporosis or Lyme disease.

Teasel root extract DER 10:1 / 0.068 g

Ingredients:  water, emulsifying agent - lecithin (from soy), common teasel root extract (Dipsacus sylvestris) DER 10:1, antioxidant: alpha-tocopherol, preservative: potassium sorbate.

Diet supplement. Liposomal herbal extract. Intended for use as a dietary supplement with selected plant ingredients.

How to use:  2 times a day for max. 0.75 ml (15 drops), consume plain or with a small amount of water, at least 15 minutes before a meal. Shake the bottle before measuring the dose.

It is recommended to start supplementation with liposomal preparations with the minimum amounts, i.e. 0.1 ml - 0.25 ml (2-5 drops), gradually reaching the maximum amounts given on the label. The period of increasing the amount and reaching the maximum portion should be selected individually, preferably after consultation with a phytotherapist. Elements such as gender, age, body weight, general health, and sensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation should be taken into account.

The preparation can also be consumed after a meal, especially the first portion in the morning.

Storage:  in a tightly closed package, in a cool place, out of the reach of small children. Protect from light. After opening, store in the refrigerator.

Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product is not intended for children under 12 years of age and pregnant or breastfeeding women.

What does DER 10:1 mean?

DER (Drug Extract Ratio) – this is the ratio of the amount of plant substance (extracted dried material) to the amount of extract obtained. In other words, it indicates how much plant material was used to produce one part of the obtained extract.

The Japanese Knotweed extract we use has a DER of 10:1, which means that 1 part of the extract (respectively 1 gram) is obtained from 10 parts (e.g. grams).
