Here is a show stopper. The Island Espeto model once known as the Traveller for it’s portable size, is small in stature but quite the opposite in tone and feel. This incredible instrument features a 23.5” scale length (right under the scale-length of a Fender Jaguar which is 24")
The guitar is very comfortable to play with its 1 11/16” wide fingerboard and is an extremely well balanced guitar seated or standing. The tone of the Mojo UK Hersheybucker Pickups (inside Gold-Foil covers) is rich and sparkly with beautiful fidelity to the notes and a very dynamic single coil clarity without the hum. They are essentially low to mid output Hum-buckers based on the vintage Dearmond “Hershey Bar” pickup design. You will be quite intrigued with how these sound, they’re astounding.
