At the core of the WD-WLA-112 is a coaxial full-range design using a European-manufactured Beyma driver and Wharfedale Pro’s EVO-Fold high frequency waveguide. By radiating sound from a single, coherent source, the system is built to deliver consistent dispersion on both horizontal and vertical planes. When paired with the dedicated FIR presets library, a flatter phase front is achieved for clean, controlled, and articulate output—especially valuable where intelligibility and even coverage are critical.

This approach also helps address common performance compromises found in traditional constant curvature two-way systems, where physical spacing between drive units can impact coherence.
