Manual LSG/LSGX-Series pumps require a separate, approved pump control panel for automatic operation. Automatic pumps have a “piggyback” float switch attached to the side of the pump, while manual pumps have float switches attached to the control panel. Liberty Pumps 2-stage LSGX-Series Omnivore^® grinders meet the demanding needs of commercial and residential sewage applications where difficult solids handling ability is crucial. The LSGX features patented V-Slice^® Cutter Technology. This superior cutting system, made of 440 hardened stainless steel, shears rags, jeans, wipes, diapers, sanitary napkins and other debris into a fine slurry. The 2-stage design provides higher-pressure with maximum head capabilities to 185 feet. This performance allows installation of a centrifugal grinder where only progressive cavity designs were previously used in LPS systems. Applications include individual or groups of homes, motels, schools, shopping centers, lakefront developments and systems requiring pressure pumping of waste.

Complete interchangeability is available with the Omnivore® family of grinders. A singlestage Omnivore® can be pulled and directly replaced with a 2-stage, all within the same basin and guide rail setup—providing total flexibility
