This vintage circa 1970's dress is made from a medium weight cotton and rayon blend jersey knit fabric. It features a wild batik-style print with amorphous soft black shapes on a pale vanilla ground, with tiny golden-brown and orange-ish wisps. The silhouette is a classic fit and flare wrap dress, with full length sleeves finished in wide winged French cuffs. The attached waist sash is also super wide, to match the slightly daggered collar. The fabric of this dress is super soft to the touch, but some care should be taken when laundering. The overall condition is excellent with some repairs to note; a repair made by a former owner at the left side sash (where it meets the skirt panel), some darn repairs to the right cuff (at the inner fold as well as outer cuff tip), small pinhead size repair at front skirt panel (near waist), and partial re-stitch to hem. None of these flaws are noticeable, I just like to fully disclose repair work on high-end items. The labels present are 'Saks Fifth Avenue' label stitched on top of the 'Diane Von Furstenberg' label, as well as the '50% cotton/50% rayon, We recommend
