This is just a superb example of Alaia's early work in leather and a silhouette that he stayed with for the rest of his working career and still favors. For the Alaia collector it will never go out of style and this one has the added bonus of being in absolutely fabulous condition. It is the perfect jacket to go over just about anything. Slipping it on instantly adds a supermodel "tough" and sexy edge. Azzedine is known for his figure sculpting cuts that enhance the body and this jacket does just that as it hugs your every curve. The leather is extraordinarily soft and supple and the seamed detailing is striking. The shoulders are rounded and slouched with a waist that nips in dramatically. Adding to that cinched in feel is a sexy little peplum flare aorund the hip. This is signature Alaia and a must have for any vintage collector. Excellent condition.
