The PL182 uses TiMotion electronic components and an upgraded control box with dual controls. The electronics include an LCD display for battery status and an emergency stop feature. The 6-point spreader bar design offers more sling attachment points than standard bars, which improves comfort and weight distribution for the patient during transfers.
Its small footprint (base height of 4.5 inches) allows it to fit under most beds and furniture. The dual front casters and hand-operated base opening make it easy to move in tight spaces. The PL182 can raise a patient from the floor, adding versatility for floor recovery transfers. The lift can be easily taken apart, which makes it easier to store or transport if needed. The lift is compatible with 2-point, 4-point, and 6-point slings, including those with head support.
