A great set of Abercrombie & Fitch Holding Company 10th Mountain Division Trail Snowshoes. These are marked and made by the AFH, Wallingford VT U.S.A., one of four companies that were producing snowshoes for the war. They are also stamped with the date (1943) and serial numbers. It was common to see "Pairs" with mismatched seriel numbers as troops would pile the snowshoes - and then re-sort during training. These snowshoes are in very good condition.
