All sections are full length and straight. Beautiful classic post-fire Leonard model with translucent honey silk wraps. Mildrum stripping guide. Bright-finish german silver cap and ring reel seat and blued guides and tip tops. Includes original tan bag and original aluminum tube with brass fittings. Plastic wrapping still remains on the grip.

Leonard's other VP and Maxwell's best-buddy, Ron Kusse, confirmed to the owner that, by its S/N, this 40-5 was inked within a very few days of Maxwell being let go on January 4, 1981.
