2003 Nike Air Zoom Vapor Miler SAMPLE
This silhouette released in 2004 as the Air Zoom Miler, it designed by Scott Portzline and developed with the mile world record holder, Hicham El Guerrouj. The Miler replaced both the Zoom Swift and the Zoom Spiridon, it was a more successful attempt at a lighter, caged Zoom shoe. Like the Spiridon, there’s a big Zoom Air unit in the heel which sits inside a plastic cage. But, whereas the Spiridon’s forefoot was simply lightweight EVA with two big flex grooves, the Miler – like the Swift – had an extra Air unit under the toes. These sample pairs from 2003 are both lightly worn and may feature slight subtleties that didn’t make it to production.
