If you’ve lifted your 4Runner, you’ve likely noticed a change in how it tracks. Maybe the rear end feels loose over potholes, or you feel a sketchy side-to-side shimmy when hitting bumps at highway speeds. This is known as bump steer, and it happens because your factory Panhard bar (or trackbar) is now sitting at a steep, aggressive angle instead of being level with the ground.
The DR. KDSS Bolt-On Trackbar Correction Kit (BOTCK) is the definitive fix. By raising the axle-side pivot point, this kit returns your Panhard bar to a horizontal position. This allows your rear axle to cycle straight up and down as intended, rather than swinging in an arc that pulls the axle off-center every time the suspension compresses.
Engineered for Strength, Built for the Trail
Most relocation brackets on the market are weld-on only, which is a barrier for many DIYers. The DR. KDSS BOTCK changed the game with a true bolt-on design that doesn't compromise on strength.
Pro Tip: When you lift a 4Runner, an adjustable Panhard bar is great for re-centering the axle, but it does nothing to fix the angle of the bar. To truly get rid of that wandering feeling on the highway, you need a correction kit like the BOTCK. It’s the single most underrated suspension upgrade for the 4Runner platform. If you’re at 2" of lift, go Shorty; if you’re at 3" or more, go Standard.
