The BB-ZB1 Gateway connects to a your home's network router via an Ethernet cable and creates a wireless mesh network supporting up to 30 Panamax MD2-ZB and Panamax SP-1000 SmartPlug AC modules (sold separately). This system provides remote on/off control of components or appliances plugged in to those AC outlets, as well as energy monitoring.

BlueBOLT Remote Power & Energy Management: The Panamax BlueBOLT remote power & energy management system provides real-time, cloud-based control and monitoring of the energy used by electronic devices. From easy reboots of locked-up electronics to comprehensive energy tracking and scheduled conservation, BlueBOLT provides a unique combination of control and monitoring directly at the electronics' power source.

BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway: The BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway connects to a your home's network router via an Ethernet cable and creates a wireless mesh network supporting up to fifteen MD2-ZB SmartPlugs (299MD2ZB, sold separately). In combination with one or more MD2-ZB SmartPlugs, the BB-ZB1 Gateway lets you control and monitor household energy usage from anywhere, anytime with your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Zigbee Wireless Communication: The Panamax BlueBOLT remote power & energy management system uses Zigbee 2.4GHz/16ch RF wireless communication (802.15.4) for secure two-way communication between the BB-ZB1 Gateway and the MD2-ZB SmartPlugs (sold separately).

Off-Site Reboot: The BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway allows you to hard-reboot problem electronics remotely that are plugged into a MD2-ZB SmartPlug (sold separately). These electronics can easily be rebooted with the click of a button through BlueBOLT's easy-to-use, cloud-based user interface, from any web-enabled device, from practically anywhere in the world. You can even assign network devices plugged into a MD2-ZB SmartPlug (sold separately) to automatically reboot once an active Internet connection is lost, completely automating the all-to-common procedure of re-establishing an Internet connection with a hard reboot of your router and other network components.

Scheduled Conservation Commands: The Panamax BlueBOLT remote power & energy management system lets you schedule conservation commands to eliminate wasted power and lower your utility bills. Standby power (the power used by electronics when they are turned off) is often indentified as one of the biggest wastes of electric power. BlueBOLT's scheduled conservation allows you to automatically shut-off all power to electronic devices which are plugged into a BlueBOLT-enabled component during non-use hours, providing the perfect solution to reducing the cost of your energy bills.

Simple Setup: BlueBOLT's cloud-based communication provides an incredibly easy setup procedure. You can immediately register the BB-ZB1 Gateway and begin monitoring and controlling devices plugged into your MD2-ZB SmartPlugs (sold separately) from your computer, tablet, or smartphone; no static IP addresses or port forwarding needed. The BlueBOLT power & energy management system is completely plug-and-play, and does not require any software installation. Simply plug the BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway into your home network's router via Ethernet and log into www.myBlueBOLT.com to register the device. You can then start using the BlueBOLT control interface through your web browser on your computer, smartphone, or tablet (no separate App available at this time).

Network & AC Power Connection: The BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway requires an Ethernet connection to your home's network router and connection to an AC power outlet. The BB-ZB1 Gateway should be connected to a Broadband network connection only (not dial-up or satellite).

Mounting Options: The BlueBOLT BB-ZB1 Gateway can be placed horizontally or vertically (w/ included stand) on a stand, shelf, or table. It can also be wall-mounted using its back-panel keyhole slots.
