Parthènope
Parthénope was the Greek sub-colony founded between Vesuvius and the Phlegraean Fields in the eighth century BC, the settlement that would become Naples. This glove is a tribute to that origin and to the Neapolitan craft that grew from it.
Made from soft lambskin nappa joined to a central quilted suede insert in a seamless construction: one panel of leather, no side stitching, for a cleaner silhouette on the hand. V-shaped quirks stitched at the fourchette base follow a centuries-old tradition: the extra gusset allows more finger movement and better shaping. A perforated palm provides breathability; a bicolor strap with nickel button snap closes the wrist. Entirely hand-crafted in Italy by the most experienced artisans.
Forest green and rum are the colours of the racing cars and leather interiors that inspired the design. Reminiscent of the racing green exterior and rich beige cabin of another era, worn on the hands rather than sat inside.
