The Science Behind the Product:

The Siberian rhubarb extract found in Menopause 731™ is standardized for two unique compounds called rhaponticin and desoxyrhaponticin. Pre-clinical studies have shown that the Siberian rhubarb extract selectively activates a specific estrogen receptor (ER-β). Simultaneously, it leaves another estrogen receptor known as ER-α undisturbed [1]. Scientists believe that this is why the Siberian rhubarb extract in this product can mimic the effect of estrogen, which in turn helps quell menopausal symptoms. 

Furthermore, the standardized extract in this product has been studied in randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials in more than 400 women. The clinical studies of the rhubarb extract lasted between 12 weeks and two years [2, 3, 6].

After the trials had ended the women involved in the studies were asked to answer standardized research questionnaires which were designed to evaluate menopausal discomforts as well as their mood and emotional health.
