Howard Bowl stood at 1777 Howard Street on Chicago's far north side, a neighborhood alley that anchored the block for decades starting in the mid-twentieth century. Bowling lanes like this one were where Chicago's working families gathered after long shifts. Some addresses just hold a neighborhood together. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
