Horology By The Sea is thrilled to offer this most beautiful execution of the Sarpaneva "K3 Northern Stars", a 10 piece Special Edition in stunning 18 Karat rose gold.

For his iconic moon phase watches, Stepan modifies the quick set calendar mechanism to function perfectly as a moon phase complication. Stepan introduces a wheel with 59 teeth (two teeth for each day of the 29.5 day cycle) in place of the date wheel which ordinarily has 31 teeth. He then takes added steps to ensure the mechanism will not break should the hands move in an anti-clockwise direction. 

A moon disc is set with two of Stepan's iconic Moonfaces in solid rose gold. These pass through the aperture at 6 o'clock to give a wonderful visualization of the phase of the moon.

The reverse side features an extensively modified Soprod A10 caliber which beats at 4 Hz and delivers a Power Reserve of 42 hours. Perlage and Côtes de Genève finishing can be viewed underneath the stainless steel rotor set with a Rose Gold Moonface and weights. 

The solid 18 Karat Rose Gold case measures 42mm x 11mm thick x 45.5mm lug-to-lug. The case is in mint condition with exception to one small ding on the bezel. Furnished on an OEM black alligator strap and solid gold Sarpaneva pin buckle. Complete with Box & signed Warranty Card dated October 9th, 2018. Special Edition of 10 pieces, and engraved "One of the Ten" on the caseback.
