Pendent measure approximately 3/4" long (including bail) and 3/8" at widest point. Italian box chain measures approximately 15-7/8" long, 1-mm wide.

This magnificent and traditional pendent represents the finest of Zuni craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Orena Leekya, out of genuine sterling silver, along with manmade Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set, creating a lovely tear drop shape, while thin silver lines accent the pendent for an outstanding finish.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
