Complete air conditioning and heating system for Jeep CJs with a 258/4.2L engine. This kit is only for the California Serpentine model Jeeps that came with the serpentine belt drive and not the V-belt. You must verify what bracket you have on your motor prior to ordering.  Look at product photo 3 and 4. Then you will select in the ordering options whether you have Option A or Option B.  This is a complete air conditioning kit that will add a/c and heat to a CJ. If you're CJ has a faulty heater, or no heater this is the kit to replace all the old parts under the dash. The kit requires the removal of the entire heating system that is behind the dash. The kit is designed to work with R-134a refrigerant. The defrost is a diffuser we add to the evaporator / heating unit that allows the duct hose to run to the original windshield defrost outlet. The kit includes: 

• Brand new serpentine compressor with oil and clutch assembly
• Parallel flow condenser
• Oring drier
• Compressor bracket with bolt kit and directions (You will need to source your own belt), High low pressure switch
• Evaporator unit with heater, mounting hardware, controls, heater control valve, and expansion valve
• A/C hoses
• All necessary hardware for installation and directions.

The a/c and heater system we offer is designed by Air Parts and is manufactured in Ocala Florida. The kit is very simple to install. The kit can be installed in one day, and includes all the necessary parts except the refrigerant to charge it and the heater hoses. This  system is the most complete available in the aftermarket, and is guaranteed to be the highest quality. Please keep in mind that the under dash is a universal style unit that may require additional modifications to the brackets to secure it under your dash. If you are uncomfortable with this please let us know and we can recommend other alternatives. If you do not have the factory fan shroud it is highly recommend that you install an auxiliary condenser fan. We have those listed for sale as well.
