For sale here is a scarce 6'6" Orvis Battenkill Deluxe. Serial #15886 built in 1954 by George Reid and Cal Skinner during the Wes Jordan era. Excellent+ original condition. Weighs 2 1/8 oz. Works well with a 3 or 4 weight line. Diminutive 3 7/8" superfine grip. Cap and ring reel seat over what appears to be a butternut wood spacer. Excellent ferrule fit (size 11/64). Could be a replacement bag but the tube appears original. Truly a fine small stream rod and one you won't find for sale very often. This one won't last long at this price.
