After 13 years since Chick Corea's second leader album "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs" in 1968, Chick Corea (p), Miroslav Vitous (b) and Roy Haynes (ds) went back into the studio to create a trio music on a larger scale. This is a masterpiece! It didn't seem like any time had passed at all," comments Chick. The three musicians have added many of Thelonious Monk's songs to their repertoire, and have made great use of Roy Haynes' knowledge and experience of playing directly with Monk, who has found freedom in the songs.
