The Karl Storz MODULITH SLX-F2 is a state-of-the-art extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter (ESWL) and modular urology workstation engineered for precise and efficient non-invasive treatment of renal and ureteral stones. Featuring a patented cylindrical electromagnetic shock wave source with an industry-leading penetration depth of up to 180 mm (optional), the SLX-F2 provides outstanding stone fragmentation—ideal even for obese patients or deeply located calculi. The dual focus technology allows seamless switching between fine and broad shock wave focal zones during treatment, enabling truly customizable therapy based on stone size, location, and patient anatomy.
Integrated imaging options include a powerful 50 kW X-ray generator (with stationary or mobile C-arm compatibility) supporting in-line AP/PA and 30° lateral projections, as well as in-line ultrasound localization with optional color Doppler for clear stone visualization. The central StorM-Touch touchscreen platform provides intuitive, centralized control of all system functions, while the ergonomic, motorized patient table is designed for lithotripsy, endourology, and advanced urological diagnostics.
