Scarlet is a a one-of-a-kind Fairy Latch Ornament. You can hang her anywhere for some vintage charm and year-round cheer!

Her head is hand-painted porcelain, and over 100 years old. It was dug up behind one of the famed German doll factories that operated from the late 1800s until the 1920s. Marsha gave her faded black hair a bit of a lift for the holidays with metallic paint. Her body is an ornate iron Victorian cabinet latch with a wonderful patina. Her wings are recycled vintage tin. Her headdress is a vintage cabochon. She hangs on a sturdy, bendable wire.

Marsha created and assembled this one-of-a-kind keepsake ornament by hand using a variety of salvaged, vintage, and cast-off items. Imperfections are to be expected and embraced, as they contribute to the piece's unique character.
