Cedric Emanuel studied art under Dattilo Rubbo and at the Julian Ashton School in Sydney.  The Trustees of the National Gallery of New South Wales have purchased his etchings, pen drawings and water colours for their collection.  He received the award for etching at the Sesqui-Centenary National Art Competitions and had work included in an exhibitions of Australian Art in U.S.A.  The Commonwealth Government and many private collectors in Australia and overseas have sought his works.  Five extended painting tours of Europe, one on commission by an English shipping organization, have been of great benefit to his art in recent years.
