The Sram Red 1090 10-speed cassette is super lightweight and extremely quiet, offering significantly superior performance. The eight sprockets located in the center are machined from a single block of high-quality steel to increase stiffness while providing a lighter weight compared to a titanium cassette. Between each sprocket is a StealthRing elastomer designed to reduce vibrations and noise. The notches on the rear sprocket further reduce weight while increasing stiffness.
