FLAVOURINGS FOR SHISHA TOBACCO

Give your shisha tobacco some flavour with BerTabac flavourings. The bottle is made of flavoured glycerine.

Les arômes sont des produits destinés à plusieurs usages, soit pour recharger les pierres à chicha type SHIAZO, STEAMSTONES… Ou tout simplement pour ajouter de la saveur à votre tabac. 
Attention, les arômes ne sont pas des produits prêt à l’emploi, il faudra laissez vos pierres ou votre tabac s’imbiber de la mélasse pendant au moins 24 heures.
Chaque flacon contient 100ml de mélasse pour un poids de 120g.

How to make your own shisha tobacco?

- Shredding your leaves

Use our BT-120+ Chicha grinder specially made for chicha tobacco.

- Tobacco washing

You can (partially) skip this step if you want to have stronger shisha tobacco but for normal tobacco, which is mild to smoke, this step is very important. Put about 1 litre of water in a container with the tobacco. Knead the mixture roughly.

After about 5 minutes you can spin your tobacco. 

Then put the tobacco back into a container and add about 1 litre of hot water.

Let the tobacco soak for a few minutes and wring out your tobacco again when it has cooled. "Knead your tobacco to remove as much water as possible.

- Add molasses and flavourings

Now comes the step that turns homemade tobacco into real shisha tobacco.

When the tobacco has lost most of its water, add the molasses.

The mixture of homemade tobacco and molasses must now be well kneaded so that the moisture and taste combine optimally.

If you feel that the tobacco is losing very little liquid, it has reached a good consistency.

The preparation stage of the shisha tobacco is complete.

Storage of home-made shisha tobacco.

You should now put your homemade tobacco mixture in an airtight, lightproof container. For example, jars and large plastic bags with a zip are suitable for this purpose. You can also use our storage buckets.

The tobacco now needs time to infuse, so that the flavours can spread well and the tobacco can later offer an optimal eating experience.

One week is the minimum, two to three weeks is preferable, as otherwise the tobacco may not have absorbed the molasses optimally. This can lead to the fact that only molasses evaporates when smoking shisha.

If you produce a larger quantity, this tobacco is also significantly cheaper than industrially produced tobacco of the same quality and quantity.
